Steve Frankenberger has lived and worked in Lakeland since 1985. Currently, Steve is a department manager at Publix Super Markets, Inc., where he leads a team in strategic growth, and embodies a spirit of giving by taking part in multiple philanthropic and community service projects.
His wife, Patty works with the March of Dimes, a national nonprofit organization that leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies.
Steve and Patty have two children; Emily and Allen, daughter-in-law Talitha, and also a 3-year-old granddaughter.
Allen is a graduate of both Lakeland High School and the United States Air Force Academy. He and his family are currently stationed in California where Allen is a captain in the United States Air Force.
Emily attends the McKeel Academy of Technology and enjoys cheerleading, camping and visiting many of Lakeland’s attractions with friends.
The beautiful City of Lakeland has an opportunity for invaluable growth. With this comes an obligation to make responsible decisions that allow for business and economic growth, residential prosperity, and environmental restoration. Steve’s experience includes extensive training in leadership, management and budgeting and he is well prepared to be the City Commissioner for the District “D” Southeast Seat.
